The belt is elegantly simple and slightly scrolled, it features a single drawer located on each side. The pediment consists of a boldly sculpted and turned shaft supported by 4 cabriole legs mounted on brass wheels and heavily accented with bear and leaves patterns indicating the provenance of this gueridon from the North East of France.
