Necklace
Size: 15-1/2" Chain
This pieces is roughly from the early 1900's. It looks as if it might have been a consigned piece that was never finish. There are no markings, but we are confident it is sterling. Rings were popular back then, but never made this large (a curved 3/4" x 1-7/16"). There is a pin back that was added more recently, but rather awkward to use because of setting in the curve. Around the edge are scallops that hold marcasite, two of which are missing as seen only at close inspection. There are 15 faceted oval Garnets, an estimate total 4 carets. We have added a silver plated brass Victorian chain measuring 15-1/2 inches. These chains are hard to find, but it matches the piece very well and we felt it was worth making the addition. It's a beautiful piece of antique jewelry you are sure to treasure.
Earrings
Size: 2-1/2"
Large hoop earrings in a pewter silver tone color with a nice light weight to them. The clip is a greenish turquoise enamel. There is a tiny imperfect in the enameling on one which I didn't even notice until I saw it in the close up photos. Book value $45.
Earrings
Size: 1-3/4"
Here is a pair of huge clips with hand set prong marquise, pear and brilliant cut rhinestones. All rhinestones are clear and bright with no aging. The bottom button part is as large as a quarter. Because of the various angles and cut of stones they shine in every direction. Book value $150.
Pin
Size: 1-3/4" x 1-7/8"
One of the most popular categories in figural costume jewelry is the face pin. This Japanese pin is gold-plated porcelain with hand painted features. There are only two tiny surface chips to the finish; otherwise it's in very good condition. When my Uncle was posted in Japan in the 50's, this was the type of souvenir stuff he brought home for us kids, but nothing as nice as this pin. Estimated book value $150.
Pin
Size: 13/16"
I purchased this Eternity Love Knot pin from the original owner. Just shy of an inch, the center fire opal is prong set. There is a nice variance of color to the opal, including red. It is marked S&W and has a gold wash. C-clasp and tube hinge. Book value $85.
Pin
Size: 2" x 2"
Bright and sparkling multi colored rhinestones set off this gold finish cut-out metal bow pin by Coro. Pretty Retro design in super condition. Book value $45.
Pin
Size: 2-3/4" x 2-1/2"
This cheery flower pin is hand made, with pink seed beads strung on wire and accented with enamel lime green leaves. Late 60's and still in excellent condition.
Jewelry Casket
Size: 1-7/8" x 1-6/8" x 1-1/2" H
These gilded jewelry caskets have never faded in popularity. Perhaps that's why the ring caskets are so seldom seen. This one has the rose motif. The gilding is worn, but it still has the original pink satin lining that is in good condition. It could easily be touched up with Rub-N-Buff available from any craft stores, but you'd have to be careful not to ruin its aged appearance which is part of its charm.
Set
Very well made metal link set looks as though it had a gold wash over it at one time. Both the choker, just shy of 15" and the 7-1/2" bracelet are studded with clear rhinestones and an emerald cut pink stone center. The screw back earrings are made of softer metal and still hold their gold tone, but are a definite match. All stones are hand set pronged. I can't find anything to compare it with other than the type of jewelry that was designed by Alfred Philippe, and may very well be an early Trifari that originally carried only a paper tag. Estimated book value $350.
Necklace
Size: Adjustable 19"
This is a super necklace from the 1960's. Three-fourths of an inch wide, each link has three glowing transparent cherry red molded cabochons, and alternate red with red Aurora Borealis rhinestones. Set in pale gold tone with a hook chain closer making its 19 inches adjustable. There is considerable wear to the the back finish from wear, otherwise is great condition. I've only seen one other piece like it which was a bracelet at a considerable price.
Shoe Clip
Size: 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" curved
Shoe buckles made from riveted faceted beads or studs of polished steel dating from the early 20th century. Both are in very good condition, with one of the backs needing a cleaning is all. They are both marked France, with one being double stamped. Pretty motif looks like grape cluster with half moons. Book value $350.
Bracelet
Gorgeous toggle bracelet by Len Albert. Slivers of mother of pearl that are a rainbow of color, and three large chunks of purple crystal. Adjustable up to eight inches.
Brooch/Pendant
Size: 3-1/4"
I'm at a loss just how to describe this wonderful piece of art. The artist, marked Elligators, 925, started with a gorgeous huge piece of red coral and carved it into a Chinamen with a super happy grin across his face. The large piece of silver bezels around him. It may be a Buddha, but in any case he is a happy guy. Wear him as a brooch, or hang him as a pendant.
Earrings
In keeping with the Kenneth Lane reputation, these darling clip earrings really catch attention. Done in a bright red plastic in the form of honey bees. Sure to bring you many compliments.
Pin/Pendant
I love bird pins and anything textured; and this pin has got it all. Neat little bird in flight with head feathers curled a top and high textured wings and tail. His body is a coral color cabochon and his eye sparkles with a tiny red stones. This pin can also double as a pendant. Marked E. Pearl.
Brooch Set
Designed by Ann Hand, this earring and brooch set are brushed gold metal Roman soldier cameos which are accented with red cabochons and tiny rhinestone. A classic design look.
Earrings
Great style with a cut out pattern in white enamel, accented with gold tone. The hoops swing from the upper clip button. Tiny bit of enamel loss on outer ring that is not noticeable. Marked Monet.
Pin
Well made turquoise and molded speckled plastic shell motif pin. On close inspection I see there is one tiny turquoise bead missing - not noticeable with the naked eye.
Earrings
Italian made and marked FAB, 925, contemporary design clip earrings. Square shape with carnelian stone.
