This is an elegant set of 4 armchairs made during the first quarter of the 19th century during the Restoration period (Period following the ouster of Napoleon Bonaparte and the restoration of the Bourbon Dynasty to the French throne). Each made from beautifully patinaed walnut and covered by yellowish fabric that would need to be replaced. Note scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1820. Dimensions: 35 ½"high/16"seat height / 23 ¼"wide / 18 ½"deep. |
