This is a massive and elegant Armchair made from solid oak during the second half of the 19th century consisting of a rectangular seatback highlighted with finials and standing upon a large and comfortable seat flanked by padded armrests, all supported by a X-shaped pediment. The greenish velvet is in used condition and would have to be replaced at some point. Note minor scratches and dents due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 42"high/ 21"seat height/ 27"wide/ 25"deep. |
