This is a very tall Faux Bamboo Armoire made from solid pine by the end of the 19th century. While Faux Bamboo Armoires are not that difficult to find, this particular one is uncommonly tall. It is topped by a cartouche flanked by finials standing upon the straight façade featuring a single mirror door above a large bottom drawer in between the pediment. The interior compartment is very spacious and provides a couple of adjustable shelves and an additional drawer. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 99"high/ 41"wide/ 18"deep. |
