This is a very nice Grandfather Clock intricately hand sculpted from solid oak by the second half of the 19th century and originally coming from Normandy in Northern France. Andre Poisson made the clock mechanism at Quintin in Brittany near Normandy. The clock is complete and features all its part from the crank to the pair of weight and brass pendulum, however it will need to be cleaned by a clockmaker. Note several scratches and dents can be seen on the case due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 87 ½"high/ 18"wide/ 11"deep. |
