Please Take 50% Off The Featured Price. This is a stunning and rare Napoleon III period cabinet made from ebony during the second half of the 19th century. This magnificent piece is topped by its original inset carrara marble, which has been repaired at some point, trimmed by a cast bronze border and sitting upon a beautiful façade boasting an elaborate embellishment combining bronze ormulus, brass and mother of pearl inlay for a breathtaking result. Note the different type of cast bronze ormolus and intricate detailed provided on this masterpiece. The interior compartment is spacious and provides a couple of adjustable shelves. The pediment consists of large tapered turned legs. A few scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 43 ½"high/ 47"wide/ 16"deep. |
