A very pretty Louis XV Style Bookcase made from solid and nicely patinaed walnut at the beginning of the 20th century consisting of a flat molded cornice sitting upon a straight façade centering a couple of niches mounted by inlaid Maltese Cross and flanked by a pair of paneled glass doors revealing large storage compartments with adjustable shelves. The pediment features a nicely scrolled apron, underneath a 3-drawer frieze offering additional storage; standing on cabriole legs. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1900. Dimensions: 62 ½"(height) x 60 ½"(wide) x 17"(depth). |
