This is an adorable serpentine shaped fire screen made from walnut during the end of 19th century featuring a lovely cartouche embellished with acanthus leaves pattern. The floral upholstery is not original and estimated to be 10 years old it is in fair condition. The pediment consists of 2 pair of cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaves on escargot feet. Circa date 1890 .Dimensions 40 ¼"high/ 24"wide/ 14 ½" deep. |
