This is a handsome and intricately carved buffet 2 corps made from solid oak by the end of the 19th century. This heavily embellished piece is featuring an upper section providing a pair of glass doors revealing an efficient storage/ display area with a total of 3 adjustable shelves, supported by Lion shaped brackets and a paneled back panel standing upon the buffet below providing a pair of gadrooned drawers upon a pair of recessed paneled doors accented with partridge and hiding a large additional storage compartment. Hardware and glass panes are in original condition. Note several minor scratches here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 89"high/ 55"wide/ 22"deep.
