Here is an exquisitely patinaed bench made from walnut by the end of the 19th century consisting of a serpentine shaped seat flanked by nicely scrolled and padded armrests supported by graceful cabriole legs on escargot feet. The reddish velvet is not original and estimated to be 5-10 years old; it is used condition. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 23"high/ 16"seat height/ 20"wide/ 26"deep. |
