This is an elegantly simple Armoire made during the Empire period at the beginning of the 19th century boasting a splendid flame walnut veneer and consisting of a flat molded cornice sitting upon a step-back façade featuring a pair of triple paneled doors trimmed with inlaid rosewood borders revealing a very large storage compartment with 3 shelves. Note that only the central shelf providing the 3 drawers is original. Hardware as key and lock are in original condition. Note several minor scratches here and there due to the age but nothing obvious. Circa date 1810. Dimensions 88"high/ 67"wide/ 25"deep.
