Here is a handsome buffet handcrafted from solid oak by the first half of the 17th century during the reign of Louis XIII boasting an impressive patinaed consisting of a contoured rectangular top sitting upon a straight but boldly sculpted façade featuring a pair of drawers above a pair of recessed paneled doors contoured with thick moldings and diamond point embellishment and mounted with their original hardware (Note that the lock of the doors is not original and estimated from the end of the 19th century.). The interior compartment is large and provides a single shelf. Note several scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1620. Dimensions 43"high/ 50"wide/ 22"deep.
