| Here is an exquisitely patinaed set of 6 dining chairs made from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century, each featuring a serpentine shaped arched seatback mounted with shell shaped crest standing above the large serpentine seat supported by graceful cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaves on escargot feet.
