This is an exquisite silver-plated gloves box from the second half of the 19th century coming from a private collector that kept it in a very good condition, it is intricately embellished all around with tied ribbon, floral and acanthus patterns and boasts a details Mythological scene on its top. The interior has been recovered with red velvet. Note some minors dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 4 ½"high / 12 ½"wide/ 5"deep.
