Here is a splendid and rustic farm table made from solid chestnut by the second part of the 19th century featuring a thick rectangular top sitting upon a sturdy pediment consisting of boldly turned columns standing on a H-shaped pediment. Note that the top is slightly warped due to the age and that a few scratches and dents can be seen here and there. The screws holding the top to the pediment have been replaced at some point for sturdiness.

Circa date 1890. Dimensions 29 ½"high/ 92"long/ 34"deep.
