This is an exquisitely patinaed bookcase made during the Louis Philippe period by the first half of the 19th century and boasting a very pretty mahogany veneer. A flat molded cornice sitting upon a single glass door revealing an efficient display area with 3 adjustable shelves mounts this elegantly simple piece. Note that the glass pane is not original and has been replaced at some point. A few minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1830. Dimensions 74"high/ 39"wide/ 17"deep. |
