This is a very pretty and decorative Art Deco mahogany Bed from the first part of the 20th Century. This piece consists of a double arched headboard centering an intricately cast bronze ormolus depicting Bacchus upon the central stretcher highlighted with inlaid floral and acanthus patterns and mother of pearl incrustations connected to the matching footboard by straight rails, all standing on turned legs. Note minor scratches here and there due to the age. This bed can fit a double-size mattress. Circa date 1930. Dimensions: Headboard 56 ¾ "(height) x 59 ½ "(wide)
