Here is an elegantly simple day bed made from a nicely patinaed walnut during the Louis Philippe period during the first half of the 19th century. This piece features a couple of armrests and stands on straight legs.

Note that the mattress is original and removable, it is in used condition and it might be necessary to replace it. This piece has several scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1830. Dimensions 32"high/ 19"seat height/ 71"wide/ 23"deep.
