Here is an adorable gueridon made from solid oak by the end of the reign of Louis Philippe by the middle part of the 19th century, consisting of a round top slightly warped due to the age supported by a boldly turned shaft standing on a tripod base mounted on wheels. Note minor scratches and dents due to the age but nothing obvious. Circa date 1840. Dimensions 28"high/ 24 ¼"diameter.
