Here is a very pretty pair of armchairs made from solid mahogany at the end of the 19th century. Each consisting of a Harp-shaped seatback adorably adorned with foliate and flanked by armrests standing upon the serpentine-shaped seat supported by straight legs, which insure stability and sturdiness.
