Here is an elegantly simple cabinet commonly called semainier by the French due to the seven drawers representing each day of the week. This charming piece is topped by its original and serpentine shaped Alep Breccia marble sitting upon the lovely façade highlighted with bronze mounts and acanthus shaped handles and escutcheons on each drawer. The pediment consists of a pair of slightly scrolled cabriole legs with bronze sabots. Note several minor scratches here and there due to the age. Hardware is in original condition. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 50"high/ 34"wide/ 17 ½"deep.
