| Here is a nicely patinaed Buffet made from solid oak during the first half of the 20th century and originally coming from Draguignan in the South of France consisting of a serpentine shaped beveled top honoring the shape of the slightly bombe façade featuring a pair of drawers above a pair of recessed paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment with single shelf. The pediment consists of a nicely scrolled apron centering the classical shell and floral patterns supported by cabriole legs on escargot feet. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1920. Dimensions 40"high/ 51"wide/ 25"deep. |
