Here is a handsome and very decorative Armoire combining solid walnut and oak for an appealing result. This piece was built during the reign of Louis XVI by the end of the 18th century. This massive antique is mounted by a Chapeau de Gendarme cornice nicely highlighted with interlaced foliate and floral patterns and sitting upon a pair of arched quadruple paneled doors, embellished with shell motif and nicely scrolled moldings; and revealing a very large storage capacity thanks to a tremendous compartment featuring 3 shelves.
