| A magnificent and massive Buffet, such long piece is commonly called Enfilade by the French, made from solid walnut by the end of the reign of Napoleon III consisting of a long beveled rectangular top honoring the shape of the step-front façade providing a 6-drawer frieze, each drawer mounted with brass handles, upon 3 pairs of appealing recessed paneled doors, separated by flat fluted columns and revealing 3 large storage compartments, each with single shelf. Note that the previous owner has replaced the back panels. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 38"high/ 146"wide/ 23"deep. |
