This is an exquisite set of majolica consisting of a planter and a pair of vases made at the end of the 19th century and originally coming from Bordeaux as indicated by the Monogram underneath the planter. Each of these items is adorably hand painted and adorned with colorful interlaced floral and foliate garlands with birds and bugs. Note the Lion’s heads flanked each pieces as handles.
