This is a tall and very decorative painted Trumeau made from pine by the end of the 19th century. The upper part is exquisitely accented by a recessed panel centering a lovely aquarelle highlighted by an intricate floral garlands mounted by bow ribbon. The aquarelle is not original and added at some point at the beginning of the 20th century. It is signed and dated 09 that stand for 1909. An elaborate frame consisting of raie de cour patterns and acanthus rosettes surrounds the original mirror. Note that several minor dark spots can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 94 ½"high/ 47 ½"wide.
