This is a splendid late 18th century Mirror made from solid pine during the reign of Louis XVI. This piece is mounted by an elaborate pierced carved cartouche depicting flower heads and oak leaf patterns upon the original mirror surrounded by a tiny beads and raie de cour design. Note several chips here and there on the frame due to the age and several dark spots on the mirror. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 57 ¼"high/ 40"wide.
