This is a handsome gilded Bookstand made from solid walnut by the end of the reign of Napoleon III boasting an elaborate ornamentation depicting the classical Moorish arches and rose windows. This piece can be folded for easy storage. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 26 ½"high/ 12 ½"wide/ 9"deep.
