This is a massive pair of armchairs handcrafted from solid chestnut by the end of the 19th century.

| Each is embellished with an upper frieze centering a Fleur de Lys flanked by acanthus leaves and features thick scrolled armrests above the straight seat supported by boldly sculpted turned legs connected to the straight back legs by stretchers. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 39 ½"high/ 15 ¾"seat height/ 24"wide/ 28"deep. |
