Here is a massive pair of Cassolettes from the end of the reign of Napoleon III by the late 1870’s. Each is featuring a combination of Mazy black marble originally from Belgium with some Greek Antique light green marble, which is coming from Thessalis in Greece. Note a few minor chips around the cup due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 11"high/ 7"wide/ 4"deep. |
