An attractive Praying Chair made from solid mahogany by the second half of the 19th century. This lovely piece is centering a pierced-craved cross upon boldly sculpted acanthus leaves and flanked by charming turned columns. Note that the upholstery is in original condition and must be replaced. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 33"high/ 9"seat height/ 19"wide/ 17"deep.
