This is an adorable chest of drawers made from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century. It is topped by its beveled original Rouge Royal marble, which has been repaired at some point, sitting upon a nicely bombe façade featuring a total of 4 drawers, each lovely engraved with foliate pattern and mounted with acanthus shaped bronze handles and escutcheons. The pediment consists of a scrolled apron centering a shell and is supported by cabriole legs, adorned with acanthus leaves, and standing on escargot feet. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 43"high/ 47"wide/ 21"deep.
