A very primitive Salt box made from solid piece of chestnut by the end of the reign of King Louis XIV at the beginning of the 18th century. This piece can be converted into a planter or a stool as the large straight legs bring sturdy support. Circa date 1700. Dimensions 18"high/ 18"wide/ 12"deep. |
