This elegant and tall piece boasts a splendid pierced carved crest centering a detailed shell flanked by foliate and finials upon the original needlepoint upholstery in between an elegant pair of tapered barley twisted columns, all standing on 2 pairs of cabriole legs joined by an intricately turned bottom stretcher. Note that the upholstery is faded and worn due to the age. Circa date 1850. Dimensions 46"high/ 30"wide/ 12"deep.
