This is an elegant bed made from walnut by the last quarter of the 19th century. Both head and footboard features an elaborate embellishment depicting floral and acanthus patterns and are connected together by a pair of nicely scrolled side rails. Note the cabriole legs adorned with acanthus leaves. Circa date 1880. Mattress Frame: 51 ½"wide/ 75"long.
