A tall and handsome armoire handcrafted from solid walnut during the reign of Louis XV by the middle part of the 18th century. This elegantly simple piece feature a bold flat molded cornice sitting upon an impressive pair of recessed triple paneled doors divulging an enormous storage compartment with 3 large shelves, note that the bottom one is in original condition and provides a small hidden compartment in between the pair of drawers. The pediment consists of an intricately scrolled apron flanked by cabriole legs on escargot feet. Circa date 1750. Dimensions 96"high/ 59"wide/ 27"deep.
