A rare and splendid Armoire handcrafted from solid walnut by the end of the reign of the Sun King Louis XIV. This exquisitely patinaed armoire boasts a flat molded cornice sitting upon a straight façade providing an elegant pair of double paneled contoured arched doors revealing a very large storage compartment with 2 non-adjustable shelves (More shelves can be built if requested. Contact us for details.). Additional storage is provided with a large bottom drawer mounted with its original wrought iron handles. Hardware is in original condition, one screw has been replaced on one lock recently for sturdiness. Circa date 1710. Dimensions 89"high/ 63"wide (crown)/ 24"deep.
