An impressive bench made from solid walnut during the reign of King Louis Philippe by the first half of the 19th century. This very long piece originally comes from a courtroom and is covered by its original brown leather trimmed by nails. The leather is in fair condition and has several scratches, it is recommended to replace or recover it. The long rectangular back stands upon the seat and can be easily removed. The pediment consists of 6 turned legs and 6 straight back legs, which insure stability and sturdiness. Circa date 1830. Dimensions 44"high/ 19"seat height/ 147"wide/ 21"deep. |
