A very elegant buffet made from exquisitely patinaed walnut by the end of the Reign of Napoleon III. This piece is mounted with its original beveled mirror surrounded by a serpentine shaped frame mounted with acanthus leaf upon the original inset "Rouge Royal" marble which has been repaired at some point. The façade features a lovely pair of drawers mounted with acanthus shaped handles upon a pair of paneled doors divulging a large storage compartment with a single adjustable shelf. Circa date 1870.
