An exquisite pair of medallion armchairs made from beech wood by the end of the 19th Century. Each with a gracefully adorned crest mounted by pierced carved cartouche depicting bow ribbon upon an medallion back accented with twisted ribbon and standing above large seat flanked by a nicely shaped armrests embellished with acanthus leaves. The pediment features 4 charming 4 turned fluted legs. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 38"high/ 18"seat height/ 25"wide/ 21"deep. |
