This is an exquisite petite commode made from rosewood during the late 1930’s. Topped by its original onyx marble sitting upon a step-front façade featuring a pair of drawers "sans-traverse" boasting an impressive inlaid embellishment depicting musical instruments and flanked by bronze ormolus above fluted faux columns, all supported by cabriole legs on bronze sabots. Circa date 1930. Dimensions 33"high/ 37"wide/ 18"deep. |
