A stunning painted hall tree made from beech wood during the reign of Napoleon III consisting of an arched central panel mounted with a tied-ribbon cartouche upon the original beveled oval mirror flanked by side panels. Both elegantly accented with bronze acanthus-shaped hangers with umbrella stand at the bottom. Note the central console accented with a fluted facade, which offers a folding door revealing a storage compartment. The mirror has several major scratches and dark spots due to its age. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 87"high/ 65"wide/ 9"deep. |
