A lovely beginning of the 20th century dining table made from walnut with burl maple panels. This table is originally from Bresse a former province in the eastern part of France. The rectangular top can be extended thanks of large pull out leaves located at each end. Note the metal hooks, which help to keep the table from warping. The intricate pediment is simply accented with flower heads and brings stability and sturdiness. Several minor scratches can be seen on the top. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 29"high/ 54"long/ 98"long with leaves out/ 41"deep.
