The crest-rail is mounted with a lovely pierced carved cartouche and flanked by finials while the serpentine seat is covered by greenish velvet, which needs to be replaced. The pediment features turned legs and stretchers. Note that the painting is not original and was done at some point during the 20th century. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 36"high/ 19"seat height/ 17"wide/ 15"deep. |
