Late 17th Century Trunk handcrafted from solid poplar and featuring bold diamond panels and original escutcheon on its façade. The hinges supporting the folding top have been replaced at some point (estimated end 19th Century). The left side features a simple floral embellishment which can be the Label of the cabinetmaker who built this item. Circa date 1680. Dimensions 27 ½"high/ 47"wide/ 21"deep. |
