An elegant Desk made from selected walnut during the last period of the 19th Century. This piece boasts its original tan colored leather top nicely decorated with gilded frieze depicting foliate. Note that few minor scratches can be seen due to the age. The sides feature diamond’s point ornamentation while the facade provides a pair of drawers mounted with their original brass handles. 8 bold fluted columns support the upper part, which stands above a massive H-shaped pediment mounted on wheels. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 29" high/ 58" wide /33 ½" deep.
