Attractive walnut bed. This piece can be darkened if desired. The headboard is adorned with an acanthus and floral motif at the top. Unique carvings are featured which primarily represent an acanthus design. The footboard is arrayed with the same carvings as the headboard. A scrolled apron rests between cabriole legs which stand on escargot feet. No rails are provided with this piece. Circa date 1940. Mattress Frame: 62 1/2"wide. |
