19th Century French Antique Directoire Style Buffet This is an elegantly simple buffet made from a lovely patinaed mahogany by the middle part of the 19th century. This nice piece is topped by its original Belgian granite which sits upon a straight façade featuring a pair of doors hiding a storage compartment with a pair of shelves and a couple of interior drawer. Note that the right door is slightly warped due to the age. Circa date 1850. Dimensions 36"high/ 51"wide/ 14"deep.



 

Pair of 19th Century French Antique Empire Period Corner Cabinets Here is a stunning and rare pair of Empire period corner cabinet made at the beginning of the 19th century boasting an exquisitely patinaed flame mahogany veneer, each highlighted with their original white carrara marble sitting on the quarter of moon façade featuring a single door and mounted with their original cast bronze accents. The interior compartment offers a single shelf. Note that hardware is in original condition, there is only a single key for both pieces. This pair is originally coming from Mirepoix in the south of France near Toulouse. A few minor scratches can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1810. This exquisitely patinaed piece consists of a rectangular contoured top sitting upon a straight façade featuring a 3-drawer frieze adorned with raie de cour pattern upon 3 recessed paneled doors, each revealing a storage compartment with single shelf, and lovely accented with flower filled urns and foliate. The pediment consists of 4 tapered fluted front legs and a pair of straight back legs. Hardware is in original condition. Note minor scratches and dents here and there due to the age. 19th Century French Antique Louis Philippe Period Pine Buffet This is a rustic but appealing buffet made from solid pine during the first half of the 19th century. This simple piece is providing an efficient storage capacity with 2 paneled doors revealing a large compartment with a total of 2 shelves. 19th Century French Antique Louis XIII Style Oak Cabinet An impressively carved Cabinet originally from Brittany and made from selected oak by the end of the 19th Century. This handsome piece boasts a heavily embellished facade from the upper spindle gallery to the recessed paneled doors and bottom open compartment. The pair of upper doors is intricately sculpted and reveals an interior compartment with the original single shelf, it is slightly warped and can be replaced at not charge if requested. Note the splendid patina that completes the look. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 79"high/ 46"wide/ 17"deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Renaissance Oak Hunting Sideboard Here is an intricately embellished Sideboard made from solid oak during the second half of the 19th century consisting of an upper section providing a shelf supported by detailed Lion shaped brackets standing on the original inset Turquin De Caunes marble (coming from the South of France) sitting on a heavily sculpted pair of drawers mounted with their original brass handles upon the pair of recessed paneled doors accented with partridges and revealing an efficient storage compartment supported by a pair of boldly sculpted baluster columns connected to the straight back columns thanks to a bottom shelf mounted on ball feet. Hardware is in original condition. Several scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 71"high/ 39"high (Marble) 47"wide/ 18"deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Louis XIV Style Walnut Sideboard Here is a majestic sideboard made from solid walnut by the first half of the 19th century and originally from Lyon. Such piece is commonly called "Dressoir" by the French which must not be confused with "Vaisselier" as such piece usually belonged to wealthy family whom used it to display silverware. Some of those pieces are sometime more than 12" tall. The bigger it is the richer the family was. This handsome piece features a tall upper shelf mounted by a boldly sculpted broken segmental arch centering a finial upon 2 small shelves below supported by bracket and large turned and fluted columns standing above the bottom buffet offering a 2-drawer frieze upon a pair of recessed paneled doors accented with geometrical molding. The interior compartment features a single adjustable shelf. Note that hardware is in original condition. Circa date 1820. Dimensions 94"high/ 62"wide/ 22"deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Walnut Buffet A very elegant buffet made from exquisitely patinaed walnut by the end of the Reign of Napoleon III. This piece is mounted with its original beveled mirror surrounded by a serpentine shaped frame mounted with acanthus leaf upon the original inset "Rouge Royal" marble which has been repaired at some point. The façade features a lovely pair of drawers mounted with acanthus shaped handles upon a pair of paneled doors divulging a large storage compartment with a single adjustable shelf. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 42 ½"high/ 62½" high with mirror/ 57 ¾"wide/ 21"deep.
 

French Antique Louis XV Style Provencal Painted Buffet Here is a pretty buffet made from walnut by the beginning of the 20th century consisting of a serpentine shaped top sitting upon the step front façade providing a couple of drawers mounted with their original wrought iron handles above 3 recessed paneled doors, each adorably accented with floral and acanthus patterns and revealing 3 efficient storage compartments with single shelf. The pediment consists of a nicely scrolled and embellished apron supported by boldly sculpted cabriole legs on escargot feet. Note that the painting is estimated to be 15-20 years old, few minor chips can be seen here and there. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 41"high/ 89"wide/ 24"deep.

The upper shelf is mounted with spindle rail balustrade and supported by 3 nicely turned columns. The fluted facade features a large single drawer with its original lock and key, in between a pair of Faux-Drawers. Note the bottom shelf, which provides an additional display area. Circa date 1890. Note that both interior compartment and shelves have been restored and finished by the previous owner.
