19th Century German Antique Biedermeier Elm Bonnetiere This is an original Bierdermeier Bonnetiere made by the first quarter of the 19th century and boasting a splendid elm veneer. This elegantly simple antique is simply mounted with an adorably scrolled cornice standing upon the double paneled doors flanked by exquisite barley twisted columns. Note the large storage compartment featuring a pair of adjustable shelves. Hardware is in original condition but shelves were recently replaced. Circa date 1820. 19th Century French Antique Empire Period Walnut Armoire This is an elegantly simple Armoire made during the Empire period at the beginning of the 19th century boasting a splendid flame walnut veneer and consisting of a flat molded cornice sitting upon a step-back façade featuring a pair of triple paneled doors trimmed with inlaid rosewood borders revealing a very large storage compartment with 3 shelves. Note that only the central shelf providing the 3 drawers is original. Hardware as key and lock are in original condition. Note several minor scratches here and there due to the age but nothing obvious. Circa date 1810. Dimensions 88"high/ 67"wide/ 25"deep.
 

19th Century French Antique Louis Philippe Period 4-Door Armoire Here is a large and massive armoire made from solid pine during the reign of Louis Philippe by the first half of the 19th century consisting of a flat molded cornice sitting upon a straight façade providing 2 pairs of double paneled doors revealing a huge storage compartment providing 2 large shelves. Hardware is in original condition except for the key, which has been replaced at some point. The paint is not original and estimated to be 20 years old, some minor chips can be seen here and there. Circa date 1830. Dimensions 85"high/ 98"wide/ 23"deep.
 

18th Century French Antique Louis XIII Style Oak Armoire A splendid handcrafted from solid oak massive armoire made by the end of the 18th century. This stunning piece boasts an impressive patina and features a flat gadrooned cornice upon a pair of splendid triple paneled doors accented with the classical Diamond’s points ornamentation and centering bold acanthus rosettes. Note that hardware is in original condition (A couple of screws on the lock have been replaced at some point for sturdiness). The doors open into a large storage compartment featuring a total of 3 non-adjustable shelves. Note that additional shelves can be made if requested. Circa date 1780. 17th Century French Antique Louis XIII Period Oak Armoire A splendid handcrafted armoire made from solid oak by the first half of the 17th century during the end of the reign of Louis XIII (1601-1643). This piece is currently a linen press, it boasts an elaborate embellishment from the bold flat cornice to the pair of triple paneled doors featuring diamond’s points ornamentation and the large frontal feet. An efficient storage compartment is provided with 2 non-adjustable shelves. The lock and the key are from the 18th Century. Note the stunning patina. Circa date 1640. 19th Century French Antique Louis XIII Style Bonnetiere A very rustic beginning of the 19th century Bonnetiere combining solid poplar and chestnut, topped by a flat molded cornice (Estimated to be from the beginning of the 20th century) sitting upon a single triple paneled door accented with diamond patterns revealing a large storage compartment with a couple of shelves. (Note that the shelves are not original and more can be built if requested). Circa date 1800. Dimensions 78 ¼" high/ 43 ¼" wide/ 28" deep.
 

18th Century French Antique Louis XIV Period Oak Bonnetiere This is a simple but splendid Bonnetiere made from solid oak at the beginning of the 18th century by the end of the reign of Louis XIV consisting of a delicate flat molded cornice sitting upon a straight façade providing a single recessed paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment offering a shelf upon a straight bar to hold hangers, all standing on ball feet. Note that a couple of additional shelves can be built if requested at no extra charge. Circa date 1710. Dimensions 73"high/ 42"wide/ 20"deep.
 

18th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Pine Armoire This late 18th Century Armoire is hand-crafted from solid pine, this massive piece features a pair of triple paneled recessed doors mounted with their original escutcheons, locks and keys. They reveal 2 large storage compartments, each with a pair of shelves. This primitive piece is in original condition. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 85 ½" high/ 68 ½" wide/ 28" deep.
 

18th Century French Antique Louis XV Period Chestnut Armoire This is a very appealing Louis XV period armoire handcrafted from solid chestnut by the end of the reign of Louis XV by the second half of the 18th century. This stunning antique is originally coming from Vendee, it is topped by a "Chapeau de Gendarme" cornice sitting upon the upper frieze centering a lovely heart (Typical of this area) above the splendid pair of arched doors mounted with their original brass hinges and escutcheons and revealing a large storage compartment with a couple of shelves. Note that both locks are not original and have been replaced at some point. This piece stands on a nicely scrolled apron supported by cabriole legs. Circa date 1760. Dimensions 89"high/ 59"wide/ 24"deep.



 

18th Century French Antique Louis XV Style Oak Wedding Armoire Here is a splendid and beautifully patinaed Louis XV Style Wedding Armoire handcrafted from solid oak by the end of the 18th century during the reign of Louis XVI. This stunning antique is topped by a gadrooned Chapeau de Gendarme cornice sitting upon an intricately carved façade featuring a pierced carved cartouche depicting a couple of birds in a tree surrounded by fruits and foliate, above the pair of triple paneled doors adorned with floral and acanthus patterns and centering medallions trimmed with raie de cour motifs surrounding bird on olive tree branches. The raie de cour pattern and the medallions are good indications that this armoire was built during the Louis XVI reign as such motifs are classical from this period. The pair of doors is mounted with its original brass escutcheons and hinges, but the lock on the door is estimated to be from the end of the 19th century. The nicely scrolled pediment is also nicely ornate and supported by boldly sculpted cabriole legs on escargot feet. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 97 ½"high/ 57"wide/ 20"deep.

This stunning and elegantly simple piece of furniture is originally coming from Vendee. This armoire consists of a flat molded cornice sitting upon a straight façade providing a pair of double paneled doors mounted with their original hinges and pierced escutcheons, all standing on a slightly scrolled apron supported by cabriole legs. The interior compartment is spacious and offers 3 large shelves. Note that hardware is in original condition; only the screws holding the lock have been replaced for sturdiness at some point. This piece does have minor scratches and dents due to the age. Circa date 1760. Dimensions 86"high/ 59"wide/ 23"deep.
 

18th Century French Antique Louis XVI Period Armoire Here is a handsome and very decorative Armoire combining solid walnut and oak for an appealing result. This piece was built during the reign of Louis XVI by the end of the 18th century. This massive antique is mounted by a Chapeau de Gendarme cornice nicely highlighted with interlaced foliate and floral patterns and sitting upon a pair of arched quadruple paneled doors, embellished with shell motif and nicely scrolled moldings; and revealing a very large storage capacity thanks to a tremendous compartment featuring 3 shelves. Note that all hardware is in original condition. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 95"high/ 58"wide/ 26"deep.

This simple but appealing piece is mounted by a pair of finials standing upon the straight façade featuring a single door with its original beveled glass pane revealing an efficient storage and display area providing a total of 3 shelves. Additional storage is provided thanks to the large bottom drawer. Several scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 92"high/ 40"wide/ 17"deep.
